This project first started several years ago, when Mr. Reid's children were much younger. Living away from the city, brings on its own adventures and every once in awhile one of those little “adventures” would find it’s way into his children’s bedrooms. After countless times of being becond by screaming children terrified of the small bug on the floor or buzzing around Reid decided for his own sanity there must be something to do about his children’s fear of the tiny harmless bugs. This is when he first created the story of The Protector Bug and the bugs unique way of being there only to protect children from the bigger monsters in the night.  What once began as a make-believe story to put his children’s minds at ease, soon became a family favorite in the Reid household.  

 

The original Protector Bug children’s book came out in 2009 and this new version has been sitting on his desk for 5 years waiting for the right time--

that time is now!
